- 4 slices hickory smoked bacon, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
- 4 ounces smoked ham, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 32 ounces chicken stock
- 16 ounces WP Rawl Farms® Turnips
- 1 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1. In a medium-sized stockpot, cook bacon in olive oil over medium until almost crisp.
2. Add onion and sauté until translucent.
3. Add ham, saute for 2-4 minutes.
4. Turn heat to medium-low. Add garlic, saute for 1 minute.
5. Stir in stock, turnip greens, and apple cider vinegar. Cook for 30 minutes or until desired
tenderness.
