In the early 1920s, Walter and Ernestine Rawl established a small farm in the town of Gilbert, SC. Over the years, the farm grew into a larger operation specializing in leafy greens and specialty vegetables, eventually becoming known as Walter P. Rawl & Sons, Inc. (known locally and in the industry by "WP Rawl").
WP Rawl remains a family-run business, with 11 family members actively involved, alongside 750 additional employees.
The company has continued to uphold the principles that guided them for nearly a century; faith, family and farming.
